I have been trying for a long time to capture the wonderfully intense color of spiderwort. Usually the image turns out to be too pale, or else a magenta color, but on this morning all conditions were just right to capture the flower in all its beauty.

Hi LaFleur,
I've been doing the same thing this year...and you are right. The true color is illusive. I do believe you've captured it. It's one of my favorite plants, and I love it when it's just as I remember it. Yours is!!
Thank you.
