Arlene again did a great job of hosting IA RU.
This nice sign greeted the members.
Once again no one dug into her beautiful fern peony.
Trolley car in the back provided a nice drive around Twin Lake in the afternoon.
2010 Iowa Round Up
Made it home with all goodies intact ~ but not a single picture! Had a really nice time and enjoyed visiting with everyone. :)
Every thing is in the ground and watered good.
I also moved some plants that I had been wanting to do and pulled weeds while I was doing that.
You amaze me how you just keep on go'in; like the energizer bunny. You are so special!
We really felt like we got to know Tom better; what a guy.
You have a real knack with starting the Round Up Photos; thank you; sorry we didn't get to say good-bye to you. That angel looks like it was made for your pond; beautiful!
Did you ever get a picture of those little birds ?
Pictures are not boring here, they help with the memories.
here's one that I got of it.. it's a yellow warbler..a life bird for me! And you missed the Baltimore Orioles the next morning! I was talking to Rob, his daughter and Arlene and we saw the pair that landed in Arlene's garden and then went over to the hummer feeder in the next yard.. wow! What color!
Your pictures aren't boring... those of us who couldn't make the RU are really enjoying them.
Aww.. thank you Jan :) I'm glad.. it was my first RU and I so enjoyed it!
LuvnIris has a "before" pic to post to show how awful that bed looked before you all fixed it up. Thank you so much.
Every morning when I walk by it I am reminded of the loving care you guys gave it. And thank you again, Jeff, for the mini hosta you brought me!
Thank you everyone for sharing your pictures. My camera was back in the hotel room...hubby only got a few with his phone and they were fuzzy.
Is anyone missing a pair of sunglasses...I seem to have an extra pair and just can't figure it out. Please let me know if maybe I got away with yours.
Aren't there supposed to be little fairies in that Hosta bed?
The fairies have not made it back from winter home...they were waiting for the renovations to be complete...right Arlene? he, he...
