What kind of iris are those? Do they grow near the edge of the pond.. I wonder if I could grow them in dirt in pots on the edge of my pond.

I have them in ground near the pond edge. I have Lousiana & siberian varieties. I do have a few also in pots, but the inground ones seem to do better.

Check out iris ensata for wetland areas.

Louisiana Iris do very well in hot climates and shallow water. I have some growing in vases of water on my deck. No soil, no fertilizer, just a few tadpoles.

I have some siberian iris, can I put them in pots IN the pond? IN the water?

This was smiling at me this am. Not sure what kind of lily it is, but I love it.
