Can you recommend a small, polite clumper for a screen? That will grow in shade? Thanks. I really enjoy your articles.

How tall you want it? You should really visit and see what there is out there.

I went to the ABC website and just got confused. My Corpus Christi garden book suggests Arundinaria spathiflora, A. japonica, and A. nitida. I guess I only need it about head high (unsightly neighbor); against a fence, not much room. Guess it will depend on what is available in this area; I don't feel comfortable buying something I haven't seen. Sometimes nursery employees are not very knowledgeable...thanks for the reply.
