Love birds, but after spending big money on baskets I have a crazy set of doves that are trying to nest in one of them. After you but the plants, hangers, soil, liners etc... the price can really get up there. I had my hubby help me take them down last evening because I like to rotate them and low and behold 2 eggs. I felt just awful having to relocate her eggs but I did not build the baskets for the birds to destroy and live in.
I have an idea to share if anyone is having this problem. I put wooden skewers in my baskets so when they sit down it won't be very comfortable and they will find another place to build their nest. If anyone has a better idea for me please share.
