I'm new to DG, always been interested in plants and such, but I have also always been a woodworker. Way back when I took it in high school. Here is a picture of a toy made from old pallets, high lighted with walnut trim.

Ret_sgt_yates, nice work on the knives. I do some blacksmithing mmyself. The last knife I made ,I think was *250 something layers of bandsaw blade and mild steel, all forge welded in a coal fire.
I started a new thread on blacksmithing , so maybe I could post a pic of my damascus knife on there, along with some of my other projects of hear late. working on a braided croos, from 1/4" round bar. It's been a little tricky, but I think it's starting to come together.
