I would like to hear about some solutions too. Asparagus beetles arrived on our asparagus this year for the first time. If your patch is small enough, you can hand pick off the beetles to control them, but I'm finding the larvae, which also feed on asparagus ferns, is still a problem.
For now, I’m going to continue to handpick off the visible beetles and try spraying our ferns with a commercial insecticidal soap or a homemade soap/hot pepper/garlic/onion spray.
