Is it too late

Toledo, OR(Zone 8a)

Is it too late for me to plant my Dahlia's? We have had so much rain I just didn't want to take a chance of rotting the bulbs. Yes, that much rain. Anyhow's can I plant them now and get a bumper crop or should I just wait till next year

Boise, ID

Go for it! Poochella's been planting hers the past few weeks so you may be in the clear.

Thanks, what have I got to lose?

Pinellas Park, FL(Zone 10a)

Yea! I say go for it. You have that dahlia magic, being in the Pacific NW. I bet you'll get plenty of blooms before winter.

Leave the computer and go plant! Enjoy!

EHEHEH, yea you've got me pegged. Its raining today so I am in front of the puter.

Is it raining today or are you out planting?

Toledo, OR(Zone 8a)

Nope, no rain today so I am going to get them in the ground. I have a good friend that has been newly diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer and I am going to be spending the morning with her. She is getting her new wig today and wants me to be there to help arrange it on her.
I have made her several hats but she is looking forward to some hair again.
So bulb, tubers, may have to wait till later this afternoon. Priorities

True!

Good luck to your friend.
