    Could anyone tell me what are the best size of wicks to use, when using jelly jars

    For now, keep in that the diameter of a wick matters. If you select a wick that is too thick or chunky for your size candle, the result is a flame that a burns too brightly. And that in turn, means your candle burns far too quickly. This is not an efficient use of your candle. But more than that, it's also a hazard.
