Very interesting collection of Azaleas. Love all the colors. I live in the mountains of North Carolina, and our house is surrounded by wild Flame Azaleas. They range in color from a deep orange to a light yellow/peach. They start to bloom one at a time and pretty much always in the same order every year. The bushes have multiplied over the years, and we are always glad to see the new additions.
Can you tell me if any of the collection in your article have their lineage from the wild Flame Azalea?
I understand the the wild plants do not like to be moved, so we have left them alone where they are.

Any hints or suggestions??

Thank you!

There is not much info on the actual species involved in the Northern Lights so I cannot comment on this question.
