When I lived in a garden apartment, for a few weeks I had a praying mantis living in a bush right outside my door. One day I decided to take pictures of her and get really good close ups of her head and face, but every time I had it in the viewfinder and it was in really good focus I was so creeped out by it I could not take the picture. After that, if I accidentally saw it, I turned my head and could not look at it!
