I would like to know if anyone has ever tried to plant perennials under a Magnolia Stellata tree. I can't seem to find info on this subject on the net. I have one in my backyard and it is about twenty-five feet high. It is beautiful in bloom. I would like to make a garden under and around it, with perennials for the shade. Any info would help. Thank you. IrishLass
