Grew it last summer and enjoyed the tall stems of flowers in the garden and making tea from the calyx. In addition to tea (known by the brand name "Red Zinger") I loved a refreshing drink made with dried Hibiscus sabdariffa in simple syrup with Martinelli's sparkling nonalcoholic cranberry juice. Its awesome.

Trader Joe's market carries dried Hibiscus sabdariffa and we use them as substitutes for cranberries in salads.
