Do the leaves at the bottom of the picture belong to the flowers?

If the leaves are sword like then the flowers look very much like Schizostylis coccinea - Kaffir Lily

Baa's having a terrible typing week

I agree with Schizostylis coccinea - actually, it is now called Hesperantha coccinea. The common name is 'Scarlet River Lily'.
Here is more about it http://www.plantzafrica.com/planthij/hesperanthacoccinea.htm
