Upon visiting San Fransisco I believe there are a couple of these plants outside a beautiful domed area (with water surrounding it.. it was being renovated at the time) not far from the lake which holds Alcatraz...
These are huge plants and I had my husband take a picture of one with me standing next to it... Could this possibly be the same plant?? I do not have the picture loaded on here yet... but tell me if they are at least native to San Fran.
