Found this plant at our museum's greenhouses yesterday and fell in love. No tag so if anyone knows its name, please help me out.

Maybe Fiji Islands or Cathedral.

Many thanks, Butch. Several people have sent D-Mail to tell me it is Cathedral and that they would like to have a leaf. Is this a rare Begonia or just an unusual one?

You can still find it for sale here and there so I don't know if it is rare. It is unusual though. Taylor GH has it on their site. GHW as well but it might take months to get it from them and then it may be substituted.

While you can propagate this by leaf, it won't keep its unusual leaf characteristics I've read. The only way to keep its weird behavior is to propagate by rhizome so I would keep it for a long time to get a "mother plant" before snipping to give away.
