I was sort of amazed. I figured we had slugs come the end of July because of the all but unrelenting rain. They arrive along with the mushrooms in the lawn. I never would have thought you, in southern California, would have that affliction. And even more amazing, they eat cactus?? I watch my dahlias, daisies, hostas, etc develop holes on the leaves, or just disappear, but cactus??
