Believe it or not, Russians cook with stinging nettles! Don't remember if they harvest them when young, or cook them in some way that removes the sting.
Teedee, it is not only the Russians who cook with stinging nettles. They were commonly used in England and other parts of Europe as food and as herbal remedies. Many of the other responses to my article have had a lot to say about the food and herbal uses of nettles.
