I work at a hotel and our florist sometimes sends us the strangest flowers. This particular one I can't identify by any websites, so I decided to ask the experts at Dave's instead. Attached is a picture of the flower. The cylindrical, "pine cone" part of the flower is about 4-5 inches long and the diameter of the cylinder is about 2.5-3 inches. What do you think?

It looks like a Ginger. Spiral Ginger maybe.

Hmmm... probably a Curcuma, but the flower is a bit faded and without seeing the foliage I'm not sure which one.
