And here he is under construction. There is a piece of rebar extending from the base up through the leg.

What fun! I love your new feline friend. How big is he? Did you use acid stains to get his wonderful striped coat? By any chance, do you have more pictures of your lath armature?

Chucklette, you have amazing talent for creating with concrete.

Chucklette, how'd you make/get effect for the leaf on your concrete_art page? Really nice work.

Passionflowerz, the leaf was cast from an actual rhubarb leaf. Do a google search for "leaf casting" and you will find lots of info on the technique.

Your work is beautiful, artistic and nothing short of amazing. I love the colors you incorporate into the concrete turning it into a much more interesting piece than if left "natural". Truly inspiring and I hope to learn to create such beautiful concrete yard decorations some day. It would take my art to another level, that's for sure!

Chucklette - There is not an artistic bone in my body, but I do know fabulous work when I see it and I am speechless! And that doesn't happen very often! I am so impressed with your creations. I love the concrete gazebo! What a gift you have to create such beautiful pieces of garden art!

Even seeing your photos of the work in progress, I still don't know how in the heck you created all these wonderful pieces! Amazing!!! I wish I had even a tenth of your talent! Bravo!

No I love it, I would love to do a black cat with gold eyes and a Russian Blue with green. How did you make it so perfect? I miss my beautiful boys!
