Thanks for this article! I'm in zone 6 and got some seeds last year that never germinated. Tried again this year and they were NOT quick to germinate...I thought they had died again. I managed to get a few plants but after several months, they're still quite small. I would not bother to grow this again. Perhaps they needed more sun or whatever...not a success for me! I do prefer New Zealand spinach as it grows all summer long, reseeds itself and is wonderful in soups, casseroles, and just by itself.
