Fall planted bulbs are in our stores and garden centers already here.
It doesn't help the plantaholics,but it is nice to see the condition of the bulbs and also the size
before one buys them.
Today I planted more of my favorite tulip. It is Antoinette which gives several flowers per stem.
The flowers change colour from yellow to orange to red if spring is long and cool.
I love Antoinette, although she was most spectacular the first year. (Maybe it's something about our springs?) Thank you both for your thoughtful comments!
