I have planted masses of lilies in 2 of my flower gardens; 25 stargazers for example, and only one came up this year. The spring I planted them they all came up. I am wondering what is eating them, squirrel or mole?

chipmunks, most definitely! Moles eat grubs and earthworms, squirrels don't usually dig up bulbs, preferring nuts. Chipmunks will also eat the roots of hostas (I found out unfortunately!)
