The lovely autumn picture limned in this article is about the only brush I've had with autumn so far. It was 97 yesterday and almost as hot today. We've had no rain in so long that the frogs have forgotten how to swim. The forecast calls for cooler temperatures and rain after tomorrow. I've afraid to believe it.
Ditto here...93 here in northern KY, and in the midst of a drought. I hope you get to enjoy some pretty fall colors, Benny--gee, I hope someone does!
Nice article, though. Fall is usually my favorite time of year. When I was stationed in Hawaii, it was great to come home and experience the change of seasons (not much of that happens in Hawaii, lol).
I apologize for the delay in replying to your comments. I think it has been unusually warm everywhere. Our evenings and mornings are cool but the other day the mercury rose to 94. That is warm for us at any time of year, let alone autumn.
I hope you did get that rain and the frogs have somewhere to swim again.
Thank you and blessings to you and yours.
Hiya KY,
Definitely not much of a change of season in Hawaii but the trade-off is orchids blooming year round. I could handle that. :) Not to mention the ocean.
Thank you for the compliments on the article and as always, I wish you nothing but the best.
