I received this canna from my sister who bartered some work and received a box of these last summer. She gave me one and it grew but did not bloom last year. I had it planted in a pot and brought it in, pot and all, last fall. Put it in the basement and forgot it. Brought it out in May and put the root (rhizome) in a party tub with purchased Miracle Gro potting soil. It bloomed yesterday and I am curious as to what I have. The foliage is quite nice and healthy. The buds are numerous at the top and will probably bloom for some time. Any help would be appreciated.
