The pot looks like a take out container, is it a special design?

Yes, I have all my plants growing in semi hydroponics. I don't use dirt. It is nice that they are opaque as I can see when to fill the water reservoir at the bottom. They are basically exactly like the take out containers with 2 holes in the bottom. for drainage. The holes are about an inch up the side.
