For a gardening site- I thought that they'd talk more about growing it!
I just went to an Asian Grocery store, bought a fresh root- and now it's coming up. Lots of folks grow "curcumas" or "hidden Gingers" they have beautiful flowers.
I don't usually write about 'growing' plants, I write more about their medicinal value and their history. And since I don't live in a zone where this plant will grow, planting and growing it is not something I know a thing about.
It's good to know that you planted some, though. Maybe you could let us know how it does.
