Has anyone had any experience with keeping Stanwell Perpetual within any reasonable boundaries -- like less than a 12' diameter without losing all the blooms? Mine has just dominated the back garden, and although I am considering moving it farther out into the wilder garden out back, I will miss its heady fragrance, so...I'd love to be able to train it to be less unwieldy. Any ideas?
I'm thinking that theSpinossimas maybe all bloom at the end of their canes? which would maybe mean that I should be removing lots of canes and then letting the ones I keep get long and maybe tying them up???? But that could be all wrong, and it wouldn't be my first time getting it backwards...
