Finally got my face mold for this project and now cannot locate the thread. I did pile my soil up last year and have about half the body so far for my "Queen of the Desert"..lol, does anyone know where this was posted? There was a link last year or longer showing one made in the Forest, or if you have made one, I'd love to see it. I appreciate your help.
No photos yet, the face is out of it's mold, and is cured. The hands are also in their mold. I have to mosaic the face, and still have not gotten enough soil to form the body, I'm hoping to have all that done come April or May, in time for Spring planting. Waiting for some nice warm days here, and in between classes, you know how that goes.
I'll tell you one thing, that mold is the best thing I've ever invested any money in, the face came right out and not a blemish on it. I'm really happy with that, I thought I'd have to make a couple to finally get it right and it came out really good on the first mold. I have to make a couple more for the male version I have in mind and one for a planter.
digger, no progress yet, I've made the faces, but, my studio and garden are taking most of my time lately... I'm getting there... Lots of fun planning and putting it all down on paper, diagraming and figuring it all out.
