I have always loved this shrub. Now that I have a home of my own I would love to include this in my garden/landscaping. It's a 16' wide brick row house and my lawn is maybe 10ft x 10f with a slope toward the sidewalk across the middle. Is there a way to make it work or should I just think of something else?
I bought a low-growing forsythia several years back.
It did fine for about six years before being crowded out by an abelia and a yaupon. I think it was Gold Tide and you can find it in the DG plant files.
The information says they grow 1-4 feet high and wide,
Mine matured at about 3 feet tall and five feet wide.
