I am the Pomegranate.

Honored by the Jews, ancient Egyptians, Syrians, Babylonians and the Greeks, the pomegranate symbolized death, fertility and rebirth. The stylized image of a king's crown was said to be the blossom end of a pomegranate and many ancient carvings depict pomegranates.

The pomegranate is healthy and considered one of the 'super fruits' in modern society. November is National Pomegranate Month!
