about 4 inches across--any ideas?

I guess the answer depends on what materials you have on hand and what you want to use the tiny wreath for.

One of my very favorites is the Ballard mini boxwood wreath: http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://dyn-images.hsni.com/is/image/HomeShoppingNetwork/pd300/ballard-designs-boxwood-mini-wreaths-set-of-4~1057198.jpg&imgrefurl=http://home-decor.hsn.com/ballard-designs-boxwood-mini-wreaths-set-of-4_p-4654663_xp.aspx&usg=__bdZz7MNiYr4VfUmpBEJveEUZNVY=&h=300&w=300&sz=46&hl=en&start=0&zoom=1&tbnid=t_PqOClx8I2FNM:&tbnh=112&tbnw=102&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dboxwood%2Bmini%2Bwreath%2Bphoto%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26client%3Dsafari%26rls%3Den%26biw%3D1276%26bih%3D609%26tbs%3Disch:1&um=1&itbs=1&iact=hc&vpx=958&vpy=155&dur=348&hovh=225&hovw=225&tx=93&ty=92&ei=Uu_vTLX3L4iusAOuhpCnCw&oei=HO_vTOT7BIa2sAPmvbWcDA&esq=5&page=1&ndsp=24&ved=1t:429,r:6,s:0

Also this photo of mini wreaths is from my idea file. The one on left is rustic bells, would also look nice in non-rusted bells. I especially like the bit of pine leaves on top. The one on right is a darling wreath made of leaves or faux leaves. I especially like the shimmery ribbon.

i am so impressed with your artistic eye and now your organization!!
and i have the little tiny wreaths already (made of some sort of twiggy stuff) and hadn't thought of using that as a base and putting greenery, bells etc on them--love the idea and will have to give that a try
i have peacock feathers too!! might give the peacock feather wreath a try!
