petralittledog Salina, KS (Zone 6a) The Bloom of the Day for November 28th, 2010 was Leatherleaf Viburnum 'Cree' (Viburnum rhytidophyllum).

ViburnumValley Scott County, KY (Zone 5b) Thanks for the sentiments, Lin - though 'Cree' (and
Viburnum rhytidophyllum in general) is not one of the stronger pleasantly perfumed crowd. It is rather lightly scented, and not one that you'd likely remember again.
It IS an excellent evergreen form though, and sets prolific showy fruit when cross-pollination is available.
