What a beautiful story as all your stories are.
Aunt Bett and all those who have passed on from this earth are truly immortal because you care enough to take the time to share these stories with us.
Putting your baby brother's socks on the tree--that is the most loving gesture I can imagine. How wonderful that it all turned out well.
Have a wonderful and blessed Christmas.

Ratlover, thank you so much.
I think they all are too important to forget, don't you? I was very lucky to have these people to guide me when I was a child. I hope you, too, will always have good memories.

Merry Christmas to you and your family!
