    Oh, boy - I have some of those Chinatown favourites places too. And I love the greens as well.

    I grow a few greens in a raised bed, and some will still be growing or at least holding until into December, even here. It is so wonderful to have something - anything - garden fresh at that time of year.

    And now where you are, you will have much better/longer access, I expect, to another of my favourite things - fresh peaches!

    No fooling, going out to the garden in the winter and harvesting something fresh and organically grown is such an exhiliarating experience. In fact, growing your own vegetables, going out in the early morning any time of the year and planning the day's meals according to what you bring in is fun and always challenging.
