I too wait each day for the mail to come. That next catalog will have some new prize for me to plant. I live in the deep south (Gulf Coast region) and usually start my tomatoes and peppers in January. We have had rather hard winters, for us under freezing is a problem, for the last two years. I probably wont start the garden until middle March rather than February due to the unpredictable weather, so am really having cabin fever.
I know it's probably been hard on you all. We are used to the cold and snow, last year we had 300 inches of snow. This year, we've had around 120 so far. It snows just about everyday. I don't even think about planting outside until the end of May. The catalogs are a lovely reminder that it will all be green eventually.
