Thanks for another wonderful story! I look forward to reading many more of your remembrances.

There are several mockingbirds in my NYC neighborhood, along with too many cars (and car thieves). One summer day, I couldn't stop laughing because I heard a mockingbird imitating an obnoxious car alarm with 8 different siren and whistle patterns!

Cute mockingbird story, Christi. They really do mimic all kinds of sounds.
But...I have yet to hear them bark!
