I have an external hard drive, and I usually back up my photos to it! But lately it keeps telling me that it is write protected! And won't let me transfer any files to it!
How do I remove the write protection, so I can back up my files?
Thanks for any help!

What Operating System are you running? And, do you know what format the external drive is in (FAT, FAT32, NTFS)?
