Another wonderful trait of this Juniper look alike is that is doesn't develop the spiny adult foliage typical of Juniper. It remains non-threatening to the passer-by and the tidying gardener.
Unfortunately, it is nearly impossible to find at nurseries in the Seattle area.
A question though: while Junipers resent pruning and do not break from old wood, how does Siberian Cypress handle pruning?
