Aloha. I live in Hawaii and 3 yrs. ago I planted 60 Italian Cypress trees as a border. They are now very healthy and about 16 ft. tall. The problem is that they are not getting very bushy. Someone suggested that I top them. Will this work and if so, how much do I cut off? I would like to know how to make them wider and bushier and increase the strength of the root system. I would really appreciate any feedback about this. My email is rogklim@aol.com. Mahalo. Roger.
