I want to start these, they are pretty good sized hard coated seeds. I'm thinking I'd nick them - soak a bit then sow. Any thoughts - experiences ?
TIA

Martha, a wonderful person here on DG sent me three seeds - she told me to just place them in some well-draining soil, cover lightly and water in. They sprouted in a short while - maybe a couple of weeks - I did not knick them or pre-soak them.
This was last year and now, in the greenhouse, they are 2' tall. I haven't had any blooms yet, of course, but plan to put them outdoors this spring and see if they bloom.
