does anyone have experience with mushrooms grown inside in coffee ground substrate? or will i be the first to answer my own question :) ?

Oh, wait, it was Oyster mushrooms. Pleurotus ostreatus.

Though this thread is several years old. You might want to check the
Fungi Perfecti site to see if they still carry the Espresso Oyster Mushroom Patch.
