Is it possible to pickle eggs and process them in a hot water bath or pressure canner? I usually drop boiled eggs into left over pickle juice for a few weeks, but am wondering if it's possible to can them so I don't have to tie up refrigerator space. Has anyone done this?

My chickens are starting to lay like gangbusters since the weather has warmed up. Even the people that I give the eggs away to don't want any more. And my hubby has to watch his cholesterol, so no to egg salad.
