I have just gotten a windows 7 computer. I am using Thunderbird for my mail but it isn't notifying me when new mail comes in every time .. once in awhile it does. Any idea what is wrong. Is there a notifier I can down load that will do it?
TIA,
Dar

In the settings, how often does it 'check' mail for you?

I have it set to check mail in 1 minute. That is the same as I had it set in XP Thunderbird & had no problem.
