I was thrilled last year to hear that NH had fined Home Depot for selling burning bush. However, wholesalers are still selling it. My townhouse complex was planted heavily with it and, the budget now does not permit removing and replacing them all.

I agree, that IS heartening. Now if the wholesalers would stop carrying it and the nurseries would stop producing it and landscapers would stop specifying it in their plans and consumers would stop buying it, everything would be perfect ... except of course for the E. alatus that is already out there taking over New England, esp., but the eastern half of the continent!
