Nearly as easy as forcing paper whites, these small yellow variety I think called 'Jack Sprite' is a nice bit of color in late winter here in Boston. These get much taller when forced indoors as compared to in my garden.

Probably reaching for light. I love doing paperwhites. This year I did hyacinths and pink daffs.. the daffs decided to wait until spring but the hyacinths came pretty early...
