My snow drops are blooming here in Alabama. Its always such a pleasure to see them when all I have in early spring is daffodils---and the blossoms of fruit trees. I was thinking of making a small pear tree orchard so I could walk under the trees in spring. And that's where I found the snowdrops this year--right in the path where I thought about planting the pear trees. It seems that they have anticipated my idea!

I had some pop up in our pasture about a year or so ago. Pleasant surprise, likely some long ago left over from the original farmhouse which is next door to us.
