I use a high quality Logitech webcam. Used to have no problems with skypeing our grandchildren. Lately when we try to make the call the video on our end looks fine until the call connects then just a green screen appears. We can see them fine with their cam but all they see of us is a green blank screen.
They don't seem to have this problem skypeing others?
I even bought another Logitech and still have the same problem.
I googled and found something about a dx file and ours is disabled as suggested ?
Any help appreciated.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled both SKype and our webcam on numerous occasions as well?

sounds like something got screwed up by re-installing, etc.

Try this link and see if that helps: (go to the bottom of the page and read the last paragraph).
