I have often wondered about bracts, but never learned the information of this article.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
One thing I think of doing is making a garden bed out of just plants which have coloured bracts.
I would not have included sunflowers because i did not know they have bracts.
Now I would include them.

Thank you. The information in this article was easy for newbie gardeners to absorb. I have experienced gardeners around, but it is like that old saying about natural born athletes not always making good coaches. Experienced gardeners speak with so much assumed knowledge, what they are saying often goes over my head. ~Nadine~
