    Very Informative. Living in Collier County, we Master Gardeners do a lot of 'splaining this very sort of thing. Most of the plants mentioned live outdoors here :)

    Well done, A very useful article on a part of many plants that we take for granted. Although well used to Poinsettia as an example, it is interesting to see how widepread bracts are in the flower kingdom.
